The short term visa can permit the visitor to stay in UAE for 30 days, which can be extend up to 40 days after the completion of 30 days. Whereas the long term visa allow 90 days of stay in UAE, but with no further extensions permissible according to the UAE visa rules.

Multiple entry visas are allow the tourist to enter and exit UAE for a period of 6 months from the date of the visa, then allowing you to stay for 30 days per entry. This is usually used by business visitors and it can only be obtained in UAE after you got an initial visit visa.

For processing the UAE visa online, you need to submit filled application form, copy of your passport which is valid for at least six months and your photographs. After submitting your documents, it takes few working days to get your visa. The UAE visa approval is at sole discretion of the immigration officials, so it is advisable to keep a gap between your visa processing date and your date of Dubai holidays travel date.
